Welcome to the Afon Tawe Ministry Area Website
Please note that we have become aware of some "navigational issues" if you are using a tablet device to view our website. This has been established as a known issue with our hosting providers where tablet users are directed to the desktop/PC version of the website (instead of the mobile device/phone version where the menu system is adapted for those devices) which tablet devices may, or may not, interpret correctly. Mobile device users (i.e. phone users) and PC/desktop users, are not affected by this issue as the menu structure is built/adapted for those devices. The problem resolves around the non display of the menu that should display to the right when you attempt to select any of the main menu items on your tablet (its impossible to "hover over an item" on a tablet device). As a work around if you tap/press and hold with your finger the main menu item of interest, then the secondary menu will then display to the right. (you may also need to dismiss any message your tablet displays i.e. to copy text). You are then able to tap any of those menu items to make your selection. Please bear with us whilst we strive to find a solution.

Very simply, a Ministry Area is a gathering of churches which provides the opportunity to streamline administration and expand the ability for mission to take place. By working together in a collaborative way, churches and their people can share knowledge, skills, resources and talent to the glory of God. The Afon Tawe Ministry Area consists of five Churches from separate areas of Swansea comprising :-

-
St David's Church (Morriston)
-
Ss David and Cyfelach (commonly referred to as Llangyfelach Church, Llangyfelach)
-
St Samlets Church (Llansamlet) of which the following form part of the St Samlets group of churches
-
St Pauls Church (Glais)
-
St Johns Church (Birchgrove)
